Rules and Regulations • Eligibility - This competition shall be open to amateur golfers who are members of a recognised Golf Club and shall be played in accordance with the Rules of Golf as approved by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews, and in accordance with local course rules. Age restriction 16yrs on or before registration day. Each golfer must hold a valid CDH number and a WHS handicap index. Golfers who are members of England Golf’s IGolf scheme will not be eligible to compete. • Handicap - Ladies play from the RED Tee Markers and the Gents from the WHITE Tee Markers. The handicap limit is 24 for Gentlemen and 32 for Ladies. CDH numbers must be provided. Higher handicaps will compete off the above. • Distance Measuring Devices -Players are permitted to use devices that measure distance only. Devices that are capable of gauging or measuring other conditions are not permitted. Use of such a device will result in a penalty of disqualification. • Buggy Policy - The use of buggies will only be permitted for medical reasons. A Medical Certificate maybe required. . • Dress Code-We operate a strict dress code.• Prizes -Trophies and vouchers will be awarded to the top three . Daily prizes for the top three at each course will receive vouchers. These will be Foremost Golf vouchers and can be redeemed at any Foremost retailer across the UK. • Countback- Countback for overall prizes will be best score on back 9,6,3,1• Presentation- Presentation of trophies will be held at Alnwick Castle Golf Club 30 minutes after the last card has been returned. Cancellation Policy for ACGC Open Texas Scramble We fully understand that cancellations are often received due to circumstances out with the entrant’s control, and therefore we would strongly advise that all entrants take insurance cover to ensure that any entry fees and any other outlays associated with the event that are lost, may be re-claimed. Should any entrant need to withdraw from the ACGC Open Texas Scramble competition for any circumstances the following refunds will apply: Before 1st March – 90% Refund.On or after 1st March but before 1st April 50% Refund. On or after 1st April– No Refund.
